THE ATTACHMENT DOC

Helping you understand and rewire attachment patterns in relationships, anxiety, and self-worth.

Why We Love The Way We Do

Attachment styles are the patterns we develop in relationships based on early experiences of connection, safety, and emotional responsiveness. These patterns don’t just show up in romantic relationships—they influence friendships, family dynamics, work relationships, and how we relate to ourselves.

If you carry beliefs like:

  • “I’m not enough”

  • “People will leave me”

  • “I have to earn love”

you may notice cycles of overthinking, anxiety, emotional distancing, or repeating the same relationship patterns even when you want something different.

The important part is this: these patterns can change.

When you begin to understand and shift the underlying beliefs driving them, relationships start to feel more grounded, secure, and emotionally balanced.

Hiiii! I’m Dr. Ibbie,

The Attachment Doc, and I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and Florida, a social psychologist, and a relationship coach specializing in attachment patterns and relational dynamics.

I created The Attachment Doc because I’m deeply interested in why we connect the way we do and how those patterns can be changed.

Most of our adult relationship patterns are shaped early in life through experiences of how our emotional needs were met, missed, or misunderstood. Over time, these experiences form subconscious beliefs about love, safety, and connection.

Without awareness of these patterns, we tend to repeat them.

My work is focused on helping people understand those patterns clearly and learn how to shift them in real, practical ways—not just through insight, but through behavior change and emotional rewiring.

How I Help

In my work, I help people:

  • Identify attachment patterns in real time

  • Understand emotional triggers and relational cycles

  • Break patterns of overthinking, people-pleasing, and avoidance

  • Build self-trust and emotional regulation skills

  • Create more secure and fulfilling relationships

This work is practical, reflective, and applied. We focus on both understanding and changing the patterns that show up in daily life.

Who I Work With

I work with thoughtful, self-aware individuals who are ready to move beyond insight alone and into real change.

You may notice:

  • You overthink or second-guess yourself in relationships

  • You struggle with people-pleasing or emotional overwhelm

  • You swing between wanting closeness and needing distance

  • Relationships often feel confusing or emotionally intense

  • You understand your patterns but still feel stuck in them

You’re not looking for quick fixes. You’re looking to understand what’s driving your patterns and actually shift them in a lasting way.

Work With Me

I offer attachment-based coaching for individuals who want structured, supportive guidance in changing relationship patterns.

Coaching may include:

  • Individual coaching sessions

  • A 12-week structured attachment program

  • Support around dating, relationships, and emotional patterns

This work is future-focused, practical, and centered on real-life application and behavioral change.

Looking for someone to get your audience laughing, thinking, and maybe even rewiring their attachment patterns a little? That’s me.

I love speaking about connection in a way that feels fun, relatable, and actually useful—not overly clinical or theoretical.

I help audiences understand how attachment patterns show up in everyday life, including:

  • Romantic relationships and dating dynamics

  • Friendships, family, and work relationships

  • Overthinking, people-pleasing, and emotional burnout

  • Self-trust, boundaries, and emotional regulation

My goal is to make attachment theory easy to understand, deeply relatable, and something people can actually apply in real life.
